Subject: “Crisis, Change, and Spiritual Growth”

Sandy: “Hello, Machiventa. We can tell of your presence by the energy that we feel. We’re very happy you are paying us a visit today.”

Machiventa: “I would like to talk about change. The world always experiences worthwhile changes in times of crises. Circumstances will bring more changes that will soon be forced upon the people, and there is now the present instance of so many in the population taking a stand against a brutal war.

“I would say their cry for peace is a sign that the people want change, for they are fighting against the age-old ways of conquering by destruction to settle the differences. This is a good example of positive change brought about by a crisis, and resulting in great spiritual progress.

“Many times we have heard you discuss the need for major changes in a great number of different fields, and I fully agree with these sentiments. However, we don’t have to necessarily bring about wholesale changes to the ways of entire civilizations. We can bring about a change in our thinking on a personal level, a step at the time, a person at the time.

“Personal spiritual growth requires much in the way of change, and sometimes it requires a big turn-around in your way of thinking. When new ideas come to you, often through the input of your celestial friends, it might be good advice on how to further expand your mind to include the possibility of an entirely new way of thinking and doing.

“Watch for these opportunities for change, and therewith personal spiritual growth. Your celestial guides and teachers have a wealth of information, and you need to listen, consider, and be open to these new ways of believing. It’s okay, also, to reflect on, and to try to take on board another person’s way of positive thinking, therewith learning from other’s experiences. You can use another’s wisdom to consider and contemplate, therefore not having to waste your precious time by having to personally experience everything for yourself.

“Changing from an old, tried, and seemingly true method, to chance failure by trying to do something in an unfamiliar, but in perhaps a better way, is not an easy task for some, and it largely depends on the person and personality. Many changes have been easy for you, and you thrive on these changes. Other adjustments have made you fearful.

“My message is that people could be more open to change, especially when they can see that a chance for personal spiritual growth will come with changes in an improved philosophic outlook.

“Even what we are doing right now is still quite new, and the vast majority would never consider their having the ability to talk with celestials. It’s still ‘a brand-new product’ that brings the ‘light of spiritual growth’.

“You and your comrades have long ago accepted that this is possible; whereas many others would certainly still question the whole idea; refuse to even consider it to be commonplace all over the universes. Their unwillingness to even contemplate this prospect reflects a basic fear of change.

“These are my thoughts for today. Consider. This is Machiventa Melchizedek. I send you my love.”

Subject: “Trust in God”

Machiventa: “Greetings, Sandy, on this cold winter’s night in North Idaho. Your Midwayer friends, Bzutu and Andrea, are here with me and they are ‘naturally’ discussing the idea that they might have dressed a little warmer under the present weather conditions. They are having fun, of course, and relaxing for a time, away from the difficult tasks they have been working on of late.”

Sandy: “Hello, to all three of you! You certainly let me know you were here. Your energy is vibrating all around this house. I'm glad you came by. I’m counting on you to give me the OK on what I intend to do next.”

Machiventa: “Just let yourself be led. Keep doing what you call your ‘God Work’, and the choice of your involvement is always yours to make. However, I would like to talk this evening about putting your trust in God.

“As each of you mortals represent just one single voice in a world plagued by much strife and instability, you are limited in how much you can achieve. The important thing to remember is that God always gives you the opportunity to do His will, as He sets in front of you that which needs to be done at any given time.

“Peace is achieved one person at a time, even in the Creator’s eyes, by that one person giving to another the most precious gift that is love. Reaching out your hand in friendship to your brothers and sisters gives God the opportunity to have them feel the love that originates from Him.

“Your trust in God allows Him to give to you the power to bring about the positive changes He so wants to see made by you. When you go about doing His will, the desire for doing the best you can comes alive within you. It is easier for you to do His will and to be happy and content, than it is for you to fight against doing good works and having feelings of incompleteness.

“To trust in God means that you are happy to let Him be your Leader in showing you the way. Let it be your purpose to come closer to God in your lifetime on planet earth, and you will find great happiness.

“I send my love to each of you who are willing to hear this message.

Subjects: “Towards Light and Life, and Time”

Machiventa: “This is your Planetary Prince and Teacher, Machiventa. This evening I would like to discuss how life goes on despite great difficulties. Time does not stop ticking by, when everything is moving along smoothly and in perceived perfect balance. And during times when we worry about the future – and at this period in your world you have a lot of company, wondering what is going to happen next – time moves on, no faster, no slower, but at the very same steady pace.

“Well, I have heard it being whispered that it is my personal responsibility to see that the planet will attain Light and Life. That is indeed what we (Celestials) all work toward; however, on many occasions we appear to be taking just one small step forward, to be pushed two big steps back, for the pendulum of time will swing.

“Man and his free will privileges can play havoc with Michael’s scheduled plans for planet earth, yet wouldn't it be nice if we could all live in peace and harmony right now? It is just not going to happen in this, your lifetime, my faithful student, because there will always be obstacles to overcome, problems to solve, and there will always be sickness and hunger somewhere, no matter how much people daydream that someday soon this will become their perfect world.

“Even on those planets where Light and Life has arrived, there are still ups and downs in each person’s life, and it is not simply a day-after-day enjoyment of heavenly bliss. Planet earth can evolve towards such relatively better times, and it is truly doing this already, yet the improvements will always remain slow, and go largely unnoticed by those who have but short stays in time, and in this realm.

“If I were to be alone at this task, and restricted to talking with just one person at the time, I might talk about what that one individual could do -- the will of God -- and the caring for his or her brothers and sisters would certainly be on top of the list. I’m hardly alone, and, moreover, when I speak to your kind (channeler or TR), I can reach many souls.

“And if the vast majority on this earth could be reached in this way, and if that majority could all attain peace and tranquility within their souls, life would swiftly become ‘wonderful’. However, that is still far from being the case, and your lives are going to hand you the severe ups and downs you need, in order for you to fulfill your purpose of being, and for you to acquire the training that you opted to receive here, and that you are destined to accept in this, your lifetime, and for later utilization.

“Blinded to events of the future, you can plan for tomorrow, but you can only live in today, and even I, your Planetary Prince -- who can see the overall picture much more clearly than can you -- still need to remain in the here and now, to do the best possible job today, in order to be hopeful about my tomorrow.

“From my viewpoint as a teacher I would much prefer if each of my (mortal) students were to learn something once, and have it remain in their memory, and for my not having to repeat these lessons again and again. But the same lesson, given today, will take on a somewhat different meaning tomorrow, largely depending on the circumstances surrounding you at any given time. And a dire problem today may not at all be troublesome to you tomorrow, because of the different frame of mind you may well be in.

“If you are ‘walking on a happy path’, there is not a great deal that can bother you, and you will manage good mileage at that time, but if you are going down a path of obstacles, you will soon tire and need to stop and rest. Life will continue in good times and in bad times, and the ultimate destination and objective of your lives is quite simply for you to enter into the Light of the Father, and to walk beside Jesus the Christ.

“Have trust in that I and all my heavenly helpers are trying hard to bring Urantia to a more peaceful state. There are many crises at hand, and some of them will be worked out, while others may be fought out on the battlefield. We are doing all we can do within our capacity, and as per Michael’s wise mandates.

“Keep up the sincere prayers, and continue to ‘reside in your ever-loyal faith’ that relief will come, and that in time we will live through the present threat of utter world chaos. I will end this transmission for now.

“I send you my love. This is Machiventa.”

Subject: “When Obstacles Block Your Way”

Received by Sandy Montee

Machiventa: “Yes, it is I, Machiventa, and I greet you on this glorious spring day, my sister in Christ. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to, at any time of my choosing, visit you in your home, for it feels good for me to regularly relax and worship with you for a time.

“You have experienced a great number of ups and downs in the period during which we have been in frequent communication. As your brother, I have experienced these unsettling events with you, and I admire you for your ability to nevertheless go forth in the love of God.

“Hold onto what is good, truthful, and of beauty. Let ‘the bad’ slip away for the irrelevance it represents, and stay comforted in the knowledge that the Father has in His possession an excellent recipe for eternal happiness, as He reaches out with both hands into the darkness of evolutionary life to lift His children into the light.

“Each and all of us are children of God, and as a loving Father he allows us to make mistakes, while teaching us the lessons on how to forgive and go on about experiencing happiness within our hearts and souls, even in the most difficult of times. In His heavens He prepares a place for each of us, as we all succeed in passing the tests that prepare us for the further lessons of eternal life.

“He will bring us all home, and we will all find comfort and joy in the careers of our selection that lie ahead. Let your steps go ever forward in this lifetime, and more so when the road may be rugged, and when obstacles block your way. See beyond the problems to focus on the solutions, and be thankful for the earthly ‘schooling of entitlement’ in this mortal life.

Note: On many occasions I have been aware of Machiventa’s ‘presence’, and I guessed he wanted to be here, and that he was just very tired of all the work he does, perhaps even despondent, and that he ‘arrived in my home’ to simply get away for a little while. At these times, it occasionally happened that he had nothing at all to say. It now appears to me that these quiet times are Machiventa’s times of worship and meditation, because I sensed his presence today, and, for at least fifteen minutes I waited before I finally heard his words… Sandy.
