Subject: “Taking This Day”

Machiventa: “Hello Sandy and progress workers. This is Machiventa.

“I would like to speak today about "taking this day". This day is given to each of you by God, and to do with what you will. It is your very own decision as to whether it will be a good day or bad. And it can truly become a source of self-fulfillment for you, when you reach the end of the day, and you can look back and see that you have accomplished something worthwhile.

“That positive ‘something’ then becomes a reality in your life and in your own mind. Make this a day of relaxation, or of physical work. It makes little difference to anyone else but you in this life. Try something today that takes patience, and becomes an exercise of discovering something new that will become new knowledge.

“The Creator has given you the power to do whatever pleases you, and will make you feel good on any given day. Above all, try to take a little time to praise God, and to think about the spiritual nature of yourself. Only you can make a difference in this, your day.

“If you can go about in a positive manner, God can greatly assist you in doing His will. Many times His will is simply no more than His experiencing the happiness and joy of His children. He depends on you to make a pleasant experience out of what could well be a negative mindset.

“We all need hugs and love coming from others to assure us that we are indeed lovable. First and foremost take care of yourself, and meet your own needs. Lift your voice in praise of the Father, instead of showing concern for gossip or judgment of your brothers and sisters.

“Make up your mind early in the day that you will enjoy it as a pleasant one, and do whatever you might do to bring some happiness and joy to others. The Master walks with you as your companion, so you are never alone, and you are always appreciated for your good efforts. Having such a Companion as He, how could you ever perceive yourself to be downtrodden, hopeless or depressed?

“Stand tall, straighten your shoulders, and hold your head high for God provides for you, and He enriches your life. We hope that your choice of what today will bring is the choice of happiness, clarity, and a day fulfilled with the grace of God.

“Take this day. Have a great day. This is Machiventa.”

For those welcome “new kids on the block” I note that the Avatar, Machiventa Melchizedek (the Teacher of Salem in Abraham’s time), is in charge of the entire worldwide program for spiritual ‘upliftment’ of this planet.

Subject: “The Inner Contentment Of The Soul”

Machiventa: “Hello Sandy, and ‘distant group students’. This is your friend and teacher, Machiventa Melchizedek.”

Sandy: “Hello Machiventa. There have been days when I felt kind of deserted by my (celestial) friends. I guess you’ve all been very busy.”

Machiventa: “Indeed, these are ‘happening’ times, and I would like to speak about retaining one’s balance in these times. Like so many others, you, too, so often look to find that inner contentment of the soul as having to arrive as if by magic from the outside world, yet it will rarely do so automatically, and without being searched for by you.

“As we look around our world today, we are seemingly forced to focus on much in the way of all-around fear, confusion and despair, and we can make the choice of taking it all upon our shoulders, or even isolating, and insolating ourselves from that frightening world. Likewise, however, we are totally within our rights, and better advised, to explore the preferable options, regardless of the circumstances.

“We can choose to enjoy our Creator’s wonderful handiwork that is all around us. We can opt to reach out to the people we meet in our every day, show some admiration for our friends, and entertain our friends and family, and be welcomed by them for our positive demeanor.

“The vast majority among us is very fortunate in our being able to, and on a daily basis, reach out and touch the lives of our siblings of all ages that are around us. You also have the choice of being alone, even when in a crowd, or with others.

“Your Creator has given you the innate gift of soul contentment for you to further develop and grow throughout your lives, to further cultivate for the purpose of achieving a balanced living, yet each of us would be unable to appreciate this inner soul quiet without us also facing the difficulties that are regularly placed in our path.

“Only in cheerfully dealing with the obstacles that chance to confront us do we learn to appreciate all the good that also comes our way, and this represents the very opportunity we are given to co-create with our God. I place before you this simple summary of a well-lived life that can be portrayed as very complex and yet so simple upon it being given thoughtful consideration. Truly, it is the discovery of balance under all circumstances that is the secret of happiness.

“I long ago realized that I must at all times make the choice whether I let the wrongs of the world get me down, or whether to delight in the happiness of the ‘miracles’ that I see at work for the evolutionary betterment of this wonderful oasis in space.

“Your relatively short life’s journeys on planet Earth are compliments (parts) of an outworking toward the end goal of your having closer contact with your God, the Creator of all life. It is my sincere recommendation that you make the ‘choice of happiness’ today by walking with Michael and enjoying the wonders of your everyday lives to the contentment of your souls.

“Today will indeed be a good day in your lives. Make it so. Go forth in the knowledge that as a child of God, His blessings are ever upon you all.

“This is Machiventa, charmed to be your friend and teacher.”

Sandy: “Thank you, Machiventa. Thank you (midwayer) Mathew for helping with this lesson, and coming through so clearly.”

Note: It is a difficult time for me with a grandson in Baghdad, but Machiventa’s lesson is obviously for all who appreciate his words, not just for me -- Sandy.

Subject: “The Payoff of Patience”

George: “When you walk through my door, that’s exactly what you do!”

Bzutu: “I am not the one scheduled to speak with you this evening, brother.”

Machiventa: “George, this is Machiventa. Your trusted friend, ABC-22, does the ‘assist’ in this contact, while I remain at my station some distance away. Right beside you, he is giving you my words more or less verbatim. We shall see.

“However, I can clearly observe you and those who surround you, and it does me good to note that, either despite, or because of, your not infrequent capricious behavior, you have managed to accumulate a sizeable number of doting friends in my realm. And some of these have now chosen to join you in your abode, yes, are in fact drawn to you by your deep love for them, and they are there to increase the ‘energy’ a lone receiver may at times require. So here you have yet another case of an often overlooked, “Where two or more of you are gathered in His name…”

George: “Huh! Who would ever think of that?”

Machiventa: “They do. They do indeed. [a short break – an interruption] The subject matter for this quiet evening, whilst most in this (western) hemisphere are at peace and asleep, deals with the rewards of patience – the great virtue of patience – the ability to at all times retain that mental awareness, and self re-assurance of the import of endurance and persistence.

“With the perceived, and real difficulties that can at times surround one in earthly life, the personality quickly learns impatience at an early age. Yet this innate human drive to satisfy one’s needs at short notice becomes the training ground for a later development of a surprising tolerance for events that present fruition only in the extreme long term. At least, it does so for those who decide, yes decide, about the maturation of self being a worthy universe goal.

“It is with the inspired realization of eventual successes that one comes to recognize the great prize that is in the offing, the self awarded certificates of accomplishment, and the privately struck unique medallions of achievement, if you will, for having perhaps beaten one’s head against a brick wall, and, eventually, surprisingly, finding it breached.

“So many celestial beings with the supreme view of ‘the irrelevance of time’ do have the ultimate in innate, Creator-awarded patience with the projects that must by them be brought to completion, and through their, at times, age-long efforts.

“Yet, unlike the ascending mortals, who did for so long produce worthy results in difficult earthly circumstances, and whilst not knowing about eventual success or failure, they cannot and will not from their higher realm arrive at an appropriate, or like ‘appreciation within’ of these earthly victories as do you mortals.

“As one who dwelt among you (in super-human, but earthly form), this new-found deep appreciation and realization of ‘self-reward for success’ was, and still is, for me one of the most outstanding delights of that true time/space engagement with the many human friends I made.

“And so, at any time you mortals bemoan the difficulties and hold-ups that earthly life can bring, it is wise for you to remember that once promoted from your realm you will go about your new projects with far superior insights into the need for patience for what is to be achieved, a much strengthened resolve to impart these dearly acquired ‘mind-set gems’ onto non-mortal co-workers, and whenever results are not deemed to eventuate in foreseeable times.

“They are the mortal races, who acquire these social talents, and many other great and magnificent advantages of personality growth, over and above those of many of His created beings. They are the mortal races evolving from the physical dusts of your universe earth mothers, who do become the valued go-getters, the organizers, the ambassadors, the captains and pilots, the learned organizers and administrators of His unending universes. This is the payoff of acquired patience.

“We shall now leave the receiver with his more immediate family. This is Machiventa.”

Subject: “Productive Of The Greatest Rewards”

Machiventa: “It has been a good day for the children and for you, grandchildren and friends — a time of love and joy, interspersed with warm and cheerful telephone calls from afar — and I thank you, now that Mothers Day will be over in just a few minutes, and at this late hour, for your still giving your thoughts to a teacher and friend. This is Machiventa Melchizedek.”

Sandy: “Hello, dear Machiventa.”

Machiventa: “My love, and greetings, and best wishes go to you and yours and all who will hear my words on this new day. It is with great pride that I, too, honor all mothers on this occasion, together with their children who at such times revisit the memories of her lengthy and loving care.

“You may take it as guaranteed by me that we in our (spirit) realm also pay valuable tribute to, and hide not our admiration for, the many women who have loved and cared for the needy children of others, and when a birthmother for whatever reason cannot be there for her child.

“High tribute, I say, in recognition of the natural nurturing instincts that are so powerfully reawakened in a grandmother, an aunt, cousin, sister, friend, or foster mother, who will step right to the front of the line, and once more devote to that needy child the hours of comfort, love and tenderness of her sharing her life in this giving way.

“Productive of the greatest rewards in the universes is the loving and caring for a child, even though the smiles of recognition on their faces and that sparkle of happiness in their eyes alone so often makes it all worthwhile, as those so dependent on their carers provide happiness in inspiring the passion they provide.

“And so, too, does Mother Spirit look upon all her children today, and every day with love and pride, and does She welcome into her arms anyone of you who needs comfort. She is so happy when you ask for Her to be with you in love.

“She stands beside Christ Michael and they laugh when you laugh and cry when you cry. They are the perfect parents and all they ask from you in return is that you praise and honor your Paradise Father — so far, and yet so close — for the Gift to you of the guiding, Divine Fragment of the God of Love is ever with you.

“As well, your immediate Creator Parents have sent their guardian angels to keep all His children under their protection. And when the Father sees the love and care given by these multitudes of ‘additional mother figures’ on Urantia, His heart sings with joy. I hope you all had a happy Mothers Day.
