Subject: "Group Cooperation and Down Time."

Received by George Barnard

George: "I can hear your ringing in my ear (indistinguishable). I'm ready to record what you have to say to me. Don't be shy. I'm only the floorsweep in this outfit."

Machiventa: "I am Machiventa Melchizedek. It gives me pleasure to speak with you, and directly at this time. It has been, for you, a great many busy years since we conversed in this way. And I want to congratulate you, and those who so capably assist you, with the many and diverse functions you are fulfilling.

"Even though you are aware of the fact that your attention is at present somewhat scattered, I would like for you to relax further and try to clear your mind -- not break off this conversation.

"We are many here who surround you. We are many here who applaud the way your group, though widely dispersed, is growing, and the way in which you are reaching more of the Master's children on almost each day. They are Michael's wishes that they may hear His words, and learn of His love for all.

(Indistinguishable) "…over this world. And they are, indeed, the translators who will come to the fore and spread even further from this source the words of the One who cares most and cares for all -- the Father.

"Both you and your friends have undertaken a mighty task, but you can rest assured and be confident that this is a tightly-knit and solid group that will achieve its goals in the end, then find still more projects in His service.

"We are aware of the fact that life on Urantia can be difficult, and for many to simply survive from day to day, can be a major task. We say, Bravo, to those who make the extra effort and take on the responsibilities of reaching out to their brothers and sisters and let their small lights shine all around them. And let their lights shine strongest on those in greatest need.

(Long break without discernible contact.)

"We want you to know that it is completely normal to occasionally arrive at times of doubts and indecision. These are also times when you gather the strength for a new momentum. They are also the times during which one can reflect on what has past. They are the times when new plans are shaped and solutions are found.

"They are the times that, in the end analysis, bring the results you all long for. These down times are there for a reason, and are a necessary part of human existence. They are the rest periods that are essential for continuance, and these breaks in "production" are meant to shine new light on projects already in progress."

George: "Thank you. It is hard for me to see anyone this morning. Hard to even figure whom the Midwayer is who is facilitating this contact, Prince Machiventa."

Machiventa: "It is your old friend, Bzutu, who amongst his many tasks can still find the time to occasionally come around to keep an eye on you."

George: "As well he needs to. I greet you, Brother."

Machiventa: "It is your old friend who will frequently inquire up and down the line of communications how it is you are progressing."

George: "If at all… My thanks go out to you both."

Machiventa: "Already this receiver/transmitter is fatigued. We shall shortly wrap up this communication. For you, George, it is in a sense a milestone, since there have been but rare occasions that you would open your heart, your mind, your soul, or even long for to hear the words of your Teachers.

"Your attachment to, friendship with, camaraderie and the exchange of humor with your… Spirit Guardian Friends… in task related efforts has been all but exclusive of others who wished for informative discourse."

"It has been such that it dispensed with all other Teachers. It has indeed been an unusual association, but you will find each day as you continue to practice your periods of meditation that more and more Celestial Friends will take the opportunity to provide you with the lessons that will allow for many brothers and sisters to heed their words, and allow for their lives to run smoother.

"I leave you with these thoughts. I am Machiventa."

George: "Au revoir, Machiventa."

Bzutu: "You are a brother. Adieu."

Note: It was in 1992 or 1993 I last (and also for the first time) heard directly from Machiventa. It was, too, about another specific task, not a lesson.

Subject: "Of New and Old Friends."

Machiventa: "What could possibly be more important than that which is put in front of you at any given time? The key word here is "Progress", my friend, and there are thousands of avenues of involvement for you to perceive, if only you poke your noses into the breeze, and sniff out the opportunities, and be prepared to turn dull mortal lives into exciting adventures in the relatively short time/space experiences you have on your world. And as this group has done.

"My greetings go to you, my dear one, and also to all those for whom you care. This is Machiventa.

George: "Maybe we're through being slow learners and could now be classified as marginally intellectually handicapped transients."

Machiventa: "Most certainly and truly, my student. But we here, together with the many onlookers -- and these at great range from your planet, and both in number and from distances inconceivable to your minds -- have long been aware of each valued member of this group of old and new friends that have now gathered in the Father's name.

"We have experienced great friendships and tentative efforts by all to learn from each other, and grasp the intricacies of some of the many diverse personalities that are needed to eventually "make whole" the Planetary Child of the Supreme Being.

"We have enjoyed immensely your comradeship, your, at times, somewhat questionable humor, and the valuable exchange of information that has here taken place. And not only do we recognize the efforts of those who taught, but also the efforts of those who have learned, the efforts of those who made welcome, and the efforts of our more "etheric" brothers and sisters that helped make this association of like minds come about.

"To simply be here, to merely enjoy your company, and to furthermore be in the presence of those of more precocious status than that which any of us now hold, has in itself been extremely rewarding. We thank you for your efforts, all, and may you be in receipt of Michael's, Nebadonia's, and the Father's rewards for reaching out to your siblings.

"To Progress! I am Machiventa."

George: "Bzutu?"

Bzutu: "Be at peace, brother. Be at peace, and carry on."

From memory: It was in the fall of 2000 when I posed the question to Life Carrier, Orion, that the Supreme Being might well be a descending Deity throughout the universes, sectors, etc. to finally be represented on each inhabited planet as "The Planetary Child of God the Supreme".

It was Teacher Tomas who answered this inquiry by pointing out that the term "Evolving Planetary Embryo of God the Supreme" would be a more appropriate. This information appeared in a lengthy Coeur d'Alene transcript, but to the best of my recall there were at the time no comments to this seemingly new information.

Perhaps the often witnessed "ghost phenomenon" -- detection of "undissolved astral selves" -- may well indicate that the Embryo of God the Supreme has as yet been unable to assimilate this yet to be analyzed "by-product of human existence".

It's just a small thought from George Barnard.

Machiventa: "This is Machiventa.

"Let us talk today about wisely sharing with those around us. I am not referring to the sharing of material wealth, but rather about the sharing of our most pensive of thoughts, our deepest of feelings, and as this relates to freedom of speech.

"It is most unwise to share with another if we have reasons to dread the potentially hurtful responses we may receive, and therefore let us seek out others of honesty and integrity -- those who will not find a reason to doubt, a motive for criticism, a pretext on which to gossip, or those who are simply waiting for an opportunity to put another down.

"When fortune brings us this person worthy of knowing our innermost thoughts, our most private of feelings and sincerest of longings, we have indeed found a true and most trusted friend.

"I am Machiventa."

Subject: "Showing Your Appreciation."

Machiventa: "Learning to say, 'Thank you', and, 'I very much appreciate you', is a simple way of making another person feel good about what they do for you.

"At a time when men and women are laying their lives on the line in their fights on the battle fields, it is so very easy to remember them, care about them, and pray for them.

"But there are others, so often forgotten, who might only do your laundry, or wash your dishes, but who are also entitled to hear that meaningful, 'Thank you so much'.

"Try to show your appreciation to the many individuals who help you along life's way even with the routine and mundane tasks they undertake, and once you become used to this excellent new pattern of behavior, involve also the Father more often in these discussions of humble gratitude you will feel.

"Say, 'Thank You', and 'I appreciate You' many times each day.

"I am Machiventa, and I send you my love."

Subject: "Gather the Trust."

George (Talking to Midwayer, ABC-22): "It's wonderful to have you around, Brother, because if anything fouls up in the days to come, I can always blame you."

Bzutu: "If that is convenient."

George: "This is perhaps a way of starting off the process. I hear your ringing in my ear. A contact has been established. The name I read is Machiventa."

Machiventa: "My dear one, this is indeed Machiventa. And I am aware of the fact that on this day you learned of my appointment to the position of Planetary Prince of this world.

"It is my intention to frequently communicate with you. And as always, it is to bring your Midwayer Friends to the fore, to prepare some of the brothers and sisters with whom you communicate with the necessary fact that more and more people all over the globe, of many races, many creeds, many cultures, will achieve contact with another species that are their nearest relatives.

"I encourage you to continue to practice your form of meditation. I encourage you to also continue to "play out" this specific method of visualization that you teach. Above all, I encourage you to gather the trust in the accuracy of what you are (now) receiving, and of what you are transmitting.

"You will, in the end, and most likely, much more appreciate this method of communication than you do the method you have heretofore utilized.

"Right at this moment, I want you to consider the hospitality you have here received. I want you to consider what it is that can be done for your hostess, as well as what can be done for the members of this entire group. Right now, I want you to consider what it is that you can do for the meeting of seekers you will soon be attending.

"With adequate forethought, I'm sure, you will bring all these tasks to a satisfactory conclusion.

"Be assured that your Friends of long ago (unclear and not recalled). Be assured also that your Friends of long standing will be with you in this pursuit, and rest assured that Michael's best wishes, Nebadonia's blessings, and my support, will always travel with you.

Notes: Until now, it was my understanding that Machiventa was Urantia's Vicegerent Planetary Prince. It appears Michael has recently relinquished His hard-earned title.

We recently learned that some 150,000 Secondary Midwayers from other planets will "be at work" on Urantia, but they will function in rotation, and we will not know the actual number employed at any given time.
