Subject: "Create A Blueprint."

Received by George Barnard.

George: "I should probably get up and put on a bright colored shirt so you can more easily find me here. Then again, it might already be too late for that, and I've sprouted roots. Or is it perhaps that you are left speechless this evening? I greet you."

Machiventa: "You are battle weary, my friend. And yet, you are thinking of all others before you consider self. I appreciate, this tenacity and single-mindedness in your executing these diverse tasks on a par with your peculiar brand of humor, as do many others. This is Machiventa, and I greet you.

"It is my pleasure to address you this evening, my dear one, and through you the many who will hear my words, and, to our delight, presently in more than one language. Your group has managed to attract a number of valuable workers in Michael's cause. You have managed to motivate many that are looking forward to hearing the words of your Celestial Teachers. This, however, is not a lesson.

"Your group has more, much, much more than the solid succor of those in Michael's battalions who are assisting in the "outreaching" to hungry souls. I say, more than a passing interest, more than strong support, for there exists love, respect, and loyalty beyond comprehension for those who have willingly jumped into the breech. And these include not only your siblings -- your human friends -- but also those in time frames near to you, who are backing up the mortal enthusiasts.

"Even now it is our view that in the growth projections you have made there will become apparent signs of an underestimation of significance of the potential of what has been commenced with.

"There is a solid group behind you and there are cheers even on Paradise for every new contact that you reach out to. We say 'bravo' for the effort of endurance and tenacity with which each of your comrades is applying himself or herself to the tasks undertaken, and to which they are most suited.

"We want you to remain keenly aware of the opportunities generated (by us) that are going to come your way to quite enlarge this group. We want those of you who have the managerial skills to create a blueprint for the many necessary activities.

"Doubt not that those who are trained and eager to be involved in the work for Father, for Michael, for Mother Spirit, will "spring" forth and offer their services as they are contacted by your Midwayer Friends.

George: "Do you, from your viewpoint, see a need for additional transmitters to be involved in this work?"

Machiventa: "The work you do is specialized work, and the Celestial Assistants available to you -- your immediate Teachers -- these Lecturers -- are numerous and are greatly skilled in the arenas of the group's interests (indicating all who receive the transcripts), and it will also be just a matter of time when my words and those of other Graduates of our university will come through to you more clearly still.

"I send you my congratulations on the progress you and yours have made, and I send you my love. I am Machiventa."

George: "We thank you, Chief. Goodbye."

Subject: "Stillness -- Great Medicine."

Machiventa: "Hello Sandy. This is Machiventa.

"It is nice to be here with you this very early morning, in these beautiful Idaho mountains, and with the sunlight streaming down. Spring has truly arrived, and we can all feel the warmth of the sun on our backs.

"It is indeed a great day for living life to one's utmost ability. This is a day on which we might walk with Michael, and appreciate God's creation in nature, and also in the individuals we will meet as we go about our day.

"I would like to speak today to the many people who go about their rushed and busy lives, but without the advantage of their realizing the many benefits their day might bring them. Stillness is the answer here, or as many call it, "Meditation". Stillness is great medicine.

"To quieten the mind is the first step in receiving messages from your Celestial Teachers, from the attending Angels, and from your many Celestial Friends and Instructors. Stillness will certainly benefit all, if each of you would only make it a daily activity to spend time by yourselves in a quiet place, and practice stilling your minds of all thoughts that are constantly bombarding you.

"To be alone, and to stay still -- to set aside fifteen minutes to just listen -- takes practice on a daily basis. Soon it will become easier to erase the thoughts from your minds in this mental calmness. Sit quietly, and when yet another thought begins to encroach on your mind, let it go, let it pass you by, then bring your attention back to Stillness.

"It helps for you to concentrate on your breathing. As and when a thought comes into your consciousness, let that thought go, and once again focus on Stillness.

"If you would practice this regularly, you will notice an improvement within a short period of time. "Listen for a thought" that comes from The Source, and that you will recognize as a message. That is the art of talking with God, and meditation is indeed the art of listening for God's instructions.

"In His lifetime on Earth, Jesus spent time in conference with His Father, and this is the technique he would always use as he went into a place of quietness. As the circuits have opened so brilliantly now, it is quite easy to hear the messages, and to at any time make contact with your personal Teachers and Guides. And as you would expect, when you hear words that seem to be "impressed upon your mind", you will recognize that these are not your thoughts at all, but that they originate from the Highest Source.

"Each of you is a treasured child of God with a special purpose in life, and you will delight in hearing God's Will for you, as this message comes from The Father, through Michael, as through myself right now, or through any other of His Celestial Helpers.

"Please practice going into a place where your thoughts quieten and Stillness becomes a habit you will look forward to. And, eventually, practice will enable you to progress to the point of your being able to accept these messages as coming from Above.

"I will leave you now. I wish you well, and I send you all my love.

"I am Machiventa."

Subject: "A Seemingly Miraculous Healing."

Received by Sandy Montee.

Machiventa: "I am here with you. This is Machiventa."

Sandy: "Hello. I would like to thank the Father, Michael, and all others who helped this week in the healing of my son-in-law, Joshua. It was an amazing healing, and the surgery for a serious brain infection was a "go" until the very time he arrived in Seattle from Alaska and was to undergo surgery just two days later.

"A dear friend told me at a Urantia group meeting last week that she saw a bright red infection about the size of a quarter in Joshua's brain. The group prayed for him in their customary prayer circle. By the time we closed the meeting, my friend told me that it was already turning a pink color. It worked, and I'm not quite sure how, but I do know that the power of prayer can do wonders. Thank you again."

Machiventa: "There is more than one way to look at this. The Father does bring about many miracles. The energy of the life force is also very strong. And so, the combined energy of the many people who were praying, and who had Joshua in their thoughts, helped bring about this seemingly rapid healing. Joshua still does have a spot on his brain, but as the doctors told him, it is now shrinking and no longer a cause for great, ongoing concern.

"We watched as you and your daughters celebrated what, instead of a vigil, became a worry free vacation in Seattle."

Sandy: "Yes, it was very good to see my two daughters and to laugh and play, and listen and talk. I very much appreciate my daughters, who love me so much."

Machiventa: "Yes, happiness. These joyful experiences are such an important emotion in your task of placing yourself on the road to happiness. Happiness does seem to dodge around the corners sometimes, and mortals are apt to give up their search for happiness rather quickly, I find. Your happiness is also the Father's happiness.

"I leave you now. I am Machiventa."

Subject: "Cooperation."

Received by Sandy Montee.

Machiventa: "Hello Sandy. This is your friend, Machiventa."

Sandy: "Good morning Machiventa. What should we talk about today?"

Machiventa: "Let us speak a few words about cooperation. Cooperation can be a seemingly highly complex matter. If you think about Our Father, Jesus (Michael), and Mother Spirit, if you can just imagine, then you would begin to comprehend to what great degree They work together.

"Theirs is an indescribably loving relationship, and They must be able to cooperate to the utmost degree of "oneness in decision making". As we go down the line, we see the Melchizedeks, the Life Carriers, and the list goes on and on.

"Cooperation is of the utmost importance for us teachers, for us to be able to transmit our words through the Midway Helpers, and to bring our teachings to many people on Urantia -- those who are involved in the Teaching Mission, those who believe in a spiritual life, and to those who generally live their life of sheer faith in God.

"Cooperation is also necessary in all human relationships. There is a degree where one person is fully cooperating, and if the other person gives to the same degree, you have a better than average relationship. Many times the balance of cooperation will inevitably change. This is where the art of listening becomes vital, if cooperation is going to bring about the desired end product.

"We could talk about large, powerful countries that try to bring peace to another nation. Many times, these large countries, even big corporations, bring their heavy-handed tactics to the bargaining table. The smaller of the two will simply be forced to cooperate, however, the smaller of the two will be discontent, and eventually rise up in their own defense.

"A good relationship is seldom static. It is virtually always undergoing transformation of some kind, and a change of attitude can add to, or take away from, the success of any relationship.

"So often in relationships, cooperation only means; "who can get the best of the other". Those who must submit to the tactics of the larger nation, or the more powerful individual in that partnership, will show its, his, or her, discontent in giving the least amount of cooperation.

The relationship will then enter a downward spiral until there is no relationship left. To agree upon a goal, and to try your combined best in achieving that goal, is an-easy-to-understand "secret". To have a content and loving relationship, one must also believe that the other is giving his or her full cooperation. And if a crisis befalls the partners, they can either pull away from each other, or shake hands in negotiation and promote further collaboration.

"As you go about your days, be aware of whom you are cooperating with, and look at the degree to which you refused to cooperate, thereby becoming the bully who insists on doing, or saying things your way, and refusing to consider the other person in the least.

"When you give the gift of cooperation, it encourages the other person to trust and believe in your honesty. He or she will then offer the very best in return.

"I will leave you with these thoughts for today, and I send my love to all.
